Discovery Lane.

It has been two months since my last post.

I'm sorry.

Life happened.

I put writing in the back seat, buckled up, and took a long drive down Discovery Lane.

I joined a bible study group and we're reading a book called The Artist's Way. The book focuses on our creative talents and how God has enabled us with gifts that sometimes we are afraid to use. It's an awesome book and I am so thrilled I took the giant leap of faith to read it, and more importantly, to believe it.

One of the great discoveries I've learned on my drive, is that there are things I am passionate about that I don't do. Did that happen to you too?

Why?

Is it because we become so busy with life that we forget we enjoy these things? Do we think we're not worth IT? Whatever IT means to you, it's important because you're important. Right?

Dance.
Sing.
Draw.
Paint.
Ski.
Whatever IT is, do IT.

At least, that's what the signs on my drive are telling me. And I'm going to try.

And I know, this may seem like it has nothing to do with holistic-life living on the surface, but healthy living, means having a healthy mind and spirit too. And if we don't care of that, we may as well by physically ill.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." (Mark Twain)
